This week, on December 3, we held the final client event of this year, where the speakers were partners and founders of Eventum Premo: Alexey Berlov and Alexander Shumovich. It was experimental because we combined a story about philosophical ideas with a tasting of fine wines 🍷 Thus, the presentation was divided into 4 parts: 1. The best version of yourself. 2. Epistemological injustice. 3. A life of extravagance. 4. Dandyism. We talked about how brands are exploiting the idea of “improvement” and why this is leading to a “fatigue society.” They touched on the idea that the only truly human way to live is to live in extravagance. Together we looked at how the idea of redundancy is used in communications of premium and luxury brands and in what cases it is applicable to retail and FMCG brands. The themes fit perfectly into the atmosphere of the old Rodin Manor. This allowed me to immerse myself deeply in philosophy and slow down in the flow of endless bustle with a glass of wine in pleasant company. The evening went wonderfully, for which we thank our guests and speakers! P.s. The entire recording of the founders' speech is attached here. Enjoy watching!
