There are people who succeed in everything. They always arrive on time, they keep their promises, they are not let down by contractors, they are not bothered by weather or traffic jams. In general, the troubles of life pass them by, everyone strives to help them and does.
Of course, it's all about arcane magic. Some “ordinary” people also manage to achieve this effect - pretty girls and bloody dictators. But this is a different case.
In addition to magic, such people have one more property - they are very distrustful. These are people who do not believe that everything will go well on its own. They don't think badly of people, but they don't trust that people are perfect and remember their promises - so they check and double-check everything. They remind their friends about deadlines BEFORE they have passed (rather than being indignant, “how could they forget about this”). They don't believe in integrity, so they don't give chances to "make a mistake." They love papers. They prepare for all unpleasant circumstances that may happen and therefore avoid them. They don’t swear that everyone around them is idiots - with their pre-demonstrated concern, they allow others to show their best qualities in time. They are boring, and they do not seek vague “maybe” promises, but firm commitments, with deadlines and responsibility. And they see everything through to the end.
I like paranoids like this. They are a pleasure to deal with.
