“Alexander Shumovich (a well-known event specialist, author of several business books) spoke about the future of special events in Russia. According to Alexander, the Event market in our country has already left its infancy. “Sellers of air” and “fishers of men” are firmly on their feet.
And if 10 years ago an event was considered successful when it took place without technical errors: the microphone did not turn off, the sound, lights or screen did not turn off, now you won’t surprise anyone with the guest show stars of the first magnitude.
Competition has increased: more and more new players are appearing on the market, as well as many professional defectors - freelancers, and they are all dumping. But the main feature of the event business is that now there is already a huge number of Internet resources, where everyone, without leaving home, can independently, without the help of a professional, choose a venue, order sound and light, choose a presenter, etc.”
