(Noun. units number, occasionalism) – a solemn role at the ceremony

Meaning:
The person or people who present the diploma/statue/award or announce the winner. Usually these are also important people who did not take part in the competition, but are respected by everyone. Sometimes - celebrities.
Their main task is to look good, smile and not get confused with pronouncing the last name (company name).

Usage example: 
- We need more ushers for the ceremony.  
It takes famous people to add pathos 

- The presenter did not come
The award will be presented simply by the presenter.
