SAP Cloud Platform is the latest platform for development and the Internet of Things, which has been available in the Russian data center since October 2017. On this occasion, SAP held a presentation of the platform in an unusual format. The uniqueness of this event was that the children of the guests of the event helped to unleash the potential of the technology. They received sensors connected to a general monitoring system, which made it possible to collect data and use it as a basis for demonstrating various solutions. SAP's Russian partners in Russia and the CIS developed or transferred solutions for various business areas to SAP Cloud Platform, which were demonstrated to guests in the hall of many industries: car maintenance, predictive repairs, cash optimization of the ATM network, cloud parking, dispatching of ambulance crews, optimization of warehouse resources. In this way, we were able to demonstrate a completely new approach to the organization of ordinary processes. The event was attended by 200 people, almost half of them were children.
