From March 28 to 29, 2006, Holiday Inn Vinogradovo near Moscow hosted the 18/14 joint meeting of the Telecommunications Operators Council and the RCC Telecommunications Commission. The Executive Committee of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC) and OAO MTT (“Mezhregionalny TranzitTelecom”), the first national operator in Russia’s deregulated long-distance and international communications market, held the joint meeting. It was attended by the heads and representatives of the largest telecommunications companies from the CIS countries: Rostelecom, MTT, Rostelegraph, Beltelecom, Tajiktelecom, Kazakhtelecom, Moldtelecom, Uztelecom, Ukrtelecom, ArmenTel, AzEuroTel, Aztelecom, Kyrgyztelecom, and others.
