Volkswagen OFF-Road Experience
About the project
On April 24, the new season of the Volkswagen off-Road experience project started. Representatives of key Federal media were the first to evaluate the capabilities of cars and the complexity of the route. Thanks to the professional work of the Agency's PR specialists, the event was attended by 45 journalists from 30 accredited media outlets.
The off-road test in Ilinsky near Moscow was held in two group races, each of which had from 20 to 25 journalists. Before leaving the track, participants were given instructions on off-road driving and technical capabilities of cars.
Off-Road Experience
Under the supervision of professional instructors trained by the best German specialists, media representatives successfully overcame one of the most difficult off-road tracks in Europe. This year, the Volkswagen brand included in the Off-Road Experience program not only the Touareg SUV, but also the Tiguan crossover in the Track&Field version. Two tracks with natural and artificial obstacles were developed specifically for these cars: 45-degree ascents and descents, a Ford, bridge, traverses, ditches, etc.
At the end of the program, participants were awarded certificates of participants of the Volkswagen off-Road driving course, press materials, as well as gifts from Volkswagen Castrol – a global partner of the Volkswagen brand.
Eventum Premo has been successfully cooperating with the Volkswagen brand for more than 15 years. Special events are also organized as part of PR services. Examples of such cooperation are: preparing a press base and working with journalists at the Moscow motor Show in 2008, the Russian presentation of the Volkswagen Tiguan to the press, inviting and accrediting leading media to foreign test drives, and much more.
Eventum Premo team provided PR support for the event, including media invitation and accreditation, preparation of press materials and press coordination.
